I left him in the crib with his paci. Walked away for a while and later heard him cough a lot. And then I heard him suck on the paci after that. I thought surely the paci fell out after all that coughing. Did he put it back in himself?

Well I went back to check on him. Only to find that he did put it back in himself…because his thumb was stuck in the pacifier hole! Instead of a pirate hook he has a pacifier.
